About me
Hi! I am Gabriela, the person behind Aest Interior Design.
I was raised in Bratislava, however have been living in Copenhagen for the past eight years. With an intention of one day opening my own business, I have studied my bachelor’s and master’s degree at Copenhagen Business School, focused on Strategy and Finance.
To follow my passion for interior design, I have studied my diploma in Interior Design at the National Design Academy. I am continuously supplementing my diploma with courses focused on different areas of interior design and the software tools needed in the process.
Since the beginning of 2024, I have been working on Interior Design projects for both private and business clients.
My approach
There are two parts of many of us. The rational, analytical, the one have everything organised and under control. The other side is the creative, spontaneous, and present. The part that wants to admire beauty, create harmony, and is seeking connection – to oneself, to nature, to others. For me, these two parts harmoniously co-exist and co-create in interior design.
I believe this combination is a strength and is how I approach each project – allowing my analytical part to do all the project management, coordination, sample ordering, budgeting, making things happen. And allowing my creative part to be emerged in the vision, the purpose in the design, and connect to the client’s needs and wants.
I believe in co-creating spaces with my clients that reflect who they are and how they want to live, while bringing together timeless functional design, with a focus on sustainability and quality. In this way, you can be the best version of yourself, in a space that feel right.
What you can expect
My purpose in the process of creating a space is to help you create a home or business space that feels like an extension of who you are - same as our wardrobe, jewellery, the way we write and speak. You can expect me to be a sparring partner, an advisor, and the one who relieves you of having to figure out the “how” and enables you to focus on what feels right.
